19 Years Old and Still Going Strong

Sunday, September 5th, marked the 19th Anniversary of my radio show, “Sunday Matinee”. I began hosting this Sunday show in a 12:30pm-2:00pm timeslot on Sundays back in 1985. That was my sophomore year at Case Western Reserve University. After a couple of years the show was expanded by 30 minutes to air from 12 Noon-2:00pm every Sunday, which is where it’s been ever since. I didn’t air anything special this year. September 2005 will mark the 20th anniversary but, more importantly, the 1000th show will air sometime in July 2005.
