Meet the Cabans

DavidDavid helps people become more productive in everyday work. He works as a trainer in the Human Resources department of a large print media organization in the Cleveland area. He also hosts a local radio show on WRUW-FM 91.1 (where he also maintains the technical facilities), is an award-winning member of Toastmasters International, and pretends to be a good farmer.

SueSue is a data manager at a major university in the Cleveland area. She does database design and oversees the correct entry and storage of data for research studies. Away from work, she loves to garden extensively.  She is also our resident wildlife expert, constantly on watch for squirrels, skunks and bunnies in our backyard wildlife refuge.

ClydeClyde was the regal and dignified master of Casa Caban through early 2007. A grey tabby who with us from 1992 to 2007, he could often be found sleeping under the chairs in the dining room. In his awake hours, he was usually underfoot begging for cat food, baby food (a delicacy), or fragments of lunchmeat. He rarely smiled, especially in his last few months.  Clyde passed away on February 15, 2007, just shy of his 15th birthday, after several months battling metastatic cancer. Clyde had his own blog, too.
